This lasagna is love on a plate. Not only did Regina Taufen make a lasagna so none of us would starve over New Year's, but she made it Gluten Free when she didn't have to so that I could eat it. She's one of those gals who knows how to get it done.
My first lasagna in over 8 years...yes, both helpings on that plate were MINE, suckers.
I'm inspired to make my own lasagna and will post the results soon. The one above uses Tinkyada noodles from Whole Foods. I feel a Superbowl meal a-brewin.
From one SG (and I'm keeping that secret til we shoot it) to another, let me just say that a compliment on food from you makes me feel really proud of myself! I'm always devouring delicious meals at your house!
ReplyDeleteI want back in that Hot Tub with a piece of piping hot lasagna -- and a Chris Cookie for dessert.
Anna, I'm so glad you got to have some lasagna. Regina is a true friend!
ReplyDeleteAre the Tinkyada noodles good? Did she undercook them so they'd stay firm when baking?
Happy New Year! :)
Lori-she must've undercooked the noodles b/c that lasagna was as good as I remember--but you bring up a very good tip that I will keep in mind whilst making my very own lasagna very soon. Great to have you here! Oh, and Tinkyada makes the best noodles--no one can tell they're GF!
ReplyDeleteRegina--get over here so I can spaeth you.
